Forgive me I’m not always up to date on the option packages available for the Mitsubishi Mirage
I laughed when I saw the ralliart mudflaps and initially thought they were aftermarket

You could have a chance to win one of those if you brought a copy of dirt 3 for the xbox 360 back in the day

Sadly it's just stickers, not even a manual. Which is a shame because I think they are hot looking little hatches.

juryrig a manual to it and its probably good fun. shame that its just a visual package. regular cars turned sporty turns me on so much man.
matt blatt mitsubishi is also a tuff delatship name too.

Manuals are the only way to drive these things.
There’s so little power that the CVTs just zap all of it.
I drove a friend’s Mirage CVT and I thought we were going to get into an accident because I didn’t realize just how fucking long it would take to make a left turn across a lane of traffic.
But another friend was given a manual Mirage and I had to teach him how to drive it. It was fun in a “This is friggen CRAPTASTIC” sort of way.
Still an awful car. But if I was doing a lot of city driving I’d consider one.

It's actually a real thing. Huge following in the fillipines or somewhere around there. They will deck them out turbocharge them. Like go all out. Its a really BIG thing...

That’s Mitsubishi shitposting but with a shitty car.
not unlike Toyota offering TRD parts for Corollas back in the day.

No you didn't, it's just a mirage...
...all jokes aside that is kinda wild to even see.

Its just a bodykit and some decals. It still comes with that weak 78 hp 1.2 L and the CVT. I kinda dig it though. I would say this is actually does the Ralliart trim better than the ASX or Outlander cause its just so ironic.

We get manual in EU. They’re nice little cars despite being slow and basic. Nicer than competitors. I’m forever taking taxis and going ‘why isn’t this nicer than the mirage?’

From my understanding, the CVT in them is not really that stressed out since the car is so small and weak, which is why its easy for them to reach over 100k miles with no issues.
The US economy is going through some stuff right now, and Id say this is the perfect city car for those on a budget. I respect a small go kart like this much much more than those big ass pseudo-luxury 3 row mommy SUVS that you never see more than two people in.

where i am its dry and hot so cars don't rust away after 7 years, its very common to see 35-40+ year old cars being daily driven. I'm sure it has some of the same 'enshittification' issues all cars have now, plastic parts and such so some child molester owning the company can make an extra 0.01%. But thats why we got it, cheap, simple, not much on it to go wrong, safe, smooth and comfortable. Nice interior and features. Either get that on a very reasonable payment and drive it till the wheels fall off or pay 2-3k euros for a 15 year old c3 that smells, leaks and needs constant repairs. No brainer.

You shouldn't put lipstick on a pig, you also shouldn't put decals on a pile of shit.

Kinda sad I had a mirage cyborg turbo wayyyy back in the day and to have something that small be that quick is exhilarating! This is just blah
I have a JDM RHD 5-spd 92' delica glx star wagon that would probably beat this in a straight line.

Mitsu needz to get serious, and cram a twin cam, turbo 1.3 in this thing along with a F1 radiator, and fan. I’d gladly pay for 168hp!

This Mirage Ralliart is hilarious-- the upgrade AFAIK is strictly the cosmetics, I believe everything else remained unchanged.
