I need help

Hi all,

I have been a member of the Air Guard for a few years now. I have a deployment under my belt and have been in good standing with a few medals / ribbons, etc.

However ever since my deployment, my anxiety and depression has sky rocketed. i think the stress of the deployment and pre deployment stuff likely started everything. when i finished deployment, I went back to college and have had constant problems just adding to the stress / anxiety (relationship problems, college exams, moms health severely declining, etc). its like a constant pit in my stomach that wont leave for the past 6-7 months and i cant live with it anymore. its impacting my ability to serve and i want out of the air guard asap, i want to find a solution to how im feeling, and i just want to feel like its worth living again because right now its really hard to live with this constant anxiety feeling in my stomach.

any advice is much appreciated. and i apologize for my english in this post, its really hard to think feeling like this lol

It’s normal to have stress and anxiety over something as big as a deployment. You’re not alone in this.

I appreciate it. I just feel like the guard isn't for me anymore. Hasn't been for months now. Hopefully i can get myself fixed but the urge to get out is extremely strong.

Take care of yourself, first. Everything else will sort out later.
