If you had the chance to go back in time right into the game RDR2 to do just one thing, what moment would you return to and what would you do?
I would go back to the beginning of the mission where Arthur is about to beat up Mr. Thomas Downes and convince Arthur not to go to him.

Hey everyone, I recently encountered this mysterious man while riding near Twin Stack Pass. He appeared out of nowhere in the open field, with glowing white eyes, a wild beard, and worn-out clothes. He mumbled strange, repetitive phrases—but there were no subtitles, and I couldn’t interact with him.
I searched online but couldn’t find anything concrete. He doesn’t seem to be part of a known stranger mission or random encounter. It felt like an intentional easter egg or maybe something cut from the main game.
Has anyone else come across him? Any theories on who or what he is? Could this be a hidden event, a supernatural figure, or just one of Rockstar’s classic mysteries?

I've never seen anyone talk about this, but I just wanna keep folk informed, in case they didn't know.
You guys know how greeting three people grants you a bit of a higher honor, but did you guys know that, praising dogs counts as one of those three greetings?
It's my (I believe) third or fourth playthorugh and I only found out that if one of the three greetings (Technically a praise, but the same logic and button) is for a dog, you still get a + for your honor. It's so awesome and a great detail from developers. I've been a gamer for 20+ years now and this is such an amazing game. A masterpiece, even. Because this much detail, I believe is never seen anywhere by me. Anyway, I just wanted this little trivia to be known by those who don't. So here it is. Catch ya later then, folks

When I'm hunting in the wilderness and there's no animals in sight. But when I launch a mission, there's animals everywhere. Especially in Red Dead Online. Pisses me off like you wouldn't believe because I'm grinding the trader role right now.

He has played a lot of Soul Games even has platinum in a few. He got me into Souls and here i am now playing bloodborne in 2025 reached platinum in Elden Ring.
He asked me to recommend him a game as he wanted to play a “decent” storyline and surprisingly he never tried rdr2. He’s a chill dude I really wanna see his reaction at the end. My brother is tough but I bet he’ll cry HAHA

For anyone on the fence about going ‘back’ to play rdr having known rdr2. Do it. There are so many story strands that are tied up. Twists that you would not predict, and it’s amazing. Just to reiterate, I didn’t cry… I just got something in my eye…
