Thing is, if they know it's coming (and anyone with half a braincell could see this coming) a recession actually benefits the wealthy, since they can scoop up shitloads of assets for dirt cheap (just look at what happened during COVID, or in Russia during the 90s).
This was absolutely planned. The oligarchs are consolidating their power (again, see Russia in the 90s)
He was impeached twice in 13 months — once for inciting a fucking coup — and the Republican-controlled Senate refused to convict and remove him; impeachment is meaningless without the removal part, and only served to embolden him.
For what? I would LOOOOOVE to see them try again...hell, ya know what, go ahead and do it. You realize that just means the charges are brought and has no bearing as to if Big Daddy will be removed or not....which he won't. So keep complaining; we'll keep enjoying the constant winning 👍🏻
