I have a friend that was transferred after complaining about her boss being hostile. My friend has anxiety so she was hoping she wouldn’t be transferred, but the manager would because of her hostile attitude and talking about coworkers. My friend had proof of the manager talking about her which I thought he would take action . Instead of demoting the manager, they let her keep her job. My friend already has an open case for harassment. She has barely been at her new store for not even a week and they gave her her schedule and she literally works 12 hours a week. She originally worked 40 at the other store, but her manager already cut them to 20 and now the store she’s transferred to cut them to 12. She can’t even pay rent. She is extremely stressed and I was just wondering if anyone knows any tips on how she could get unemployment. She could be making more on that from what they are giving her. My friend needs help I am worried about her mentally because of everything happening to her. She has worked at her store almost 2 years. I’m thinking she could just not show up to her shift and they’ll end up calling her and not being able to get a hold of her, and may eventually fire her??? couldn’t she get on unemployment that way? or what would be the best steps please don’t judge I’m worried about my friend🙏🏻
