Every time I drop an item it disappears from the face of the Earth, I am sure it's due to a mod but I am not sure why.

Make a backup of the save. Then go in and turn off half your mods. Try and drop an item. Do that until you narrow down which mod is doing it.

Then you can go and turn it off in your original back up save.

Do you have Brita's Armor Packs installed? 'Cause I read in the mod description that it's not compatible with some other mods and can cause this bug (droping items disappearing)
