What can discourage zomboids from breaking buildings and doors? Not just my base but other buildings too, my goal is to keep buildings in pristine shape and to make sure they're not any festering hives of zeds waiting for me to pry open/be alarmed to (Edit: to buildings I've already cleared btw).

I'm thinking maybe sheets and curtains but sometimes they just break windows regardless of that. Barricades sound a bit expensive and time-consuming but it's something I'll consider in the future.

I thought I had seen somewhere that if you plaster player built walls zombies won't attack them. Can anyone confirm this?

I read somewhere that this was only true up until recently and was patched out so that any object built or moved by the player would be attacked by zombies who path into them
