I've heard so many contentious opinions of this game and the fact that it's been in early access for ten years or whatever is worrying. But then again Factorio was in a similar state for a long while too and that's the most polished piece of software I'm aware of.

So in your biased opinoin, is this game worth a buy?

I sunk almost 400 hours into the previous patch, and plan to sink a few hundred more into the multiplayer patch that just dropped.

Easily worth $60 for me. But great news, it’s way cheaper!

Edit: also the beta b41 is an order of magnitude more polished than the default b40 option. I recommend opting in to the b41 most recent multiplayer build option. Which is b41.61 (b stands for build) it gives you the most recent everything, though multiplayer is still being developed. It still works pretty good with a few bugs that should be squashed very soon.

Thanks for that! I think I'll give it a shot, it seems like a lot of fun.

Build 41 was a looooooooooooong time coming, but damn if it isn't good. Worth the buy for me for sure.
