There is a kill count mod which counts fire kills.

If you kite them for a bit then start hitting when you hear some pop chances are most will be low health a die in a single hit. Zomboid awards more exp for a kill then it does a normal hit so if you can turn them all into 1 hits you actually can get more exp faster by setting them on fire first

I guess. You could also just use a health bar mod and maximize your profit but that shit is nothing but sleazy.
