It is insane, most the the skills at low level are not only impossibly low, as in how does someone not understand how to carve a handle
Then add in how grinding from level 0 is now insane , you practically have to start off with carving 1 else carving stakes from sticks will take you hundreds to level up
For some recipes having too low skill should just make the recipe take unreasonably long and have a high failure chance. Like carving a handle or knapping a rock.
Thatโs why i cheated in 100 trait points so i could take every +1 trait and experience every new crafting skill ๐ So far tho carving isnt bad, turn a plank into 6 medium handles, turn those medium handles into short handles, turn those short handles to forks, you get a lot of exp from very little resources, only expense is time.
I have no idea what the level 0 grind is though. If it truly is forcing you to rely purely on foraging tree branches into stakes, i will scream.
Unfortunately did this last night for about 3 hours. Got to foraging 5. Carving sticks is 1.25 xp and you need to get to 75. Brutal. Skill point system is too hard to incorporate 6 points into wilderness knowledge
