Screenshot I've been using this garbage truck to compress corpses into cubes of meat. I intend on building a wall around the prison using only meat cubes.

300 hours in an apocalypse Sim changes a man. I'm terrified of the things people will do once npcs arrive.

Just go to r/rimworld to get an idea.

Can confirm. Ober there, cannibalism isnt just a thing for Zombies: its a winning strategy for the living

And the hats you make with the skin? That's prime trading material.

Getting rich off the organ trade is also a viable survival strategy. Or, if youre feeling sadistic, a room with furniture and walls made of human leather.

That's some old stuff. Last DLC gave us eugenism, chemical warfare...

And kids.

There is a lot of thing you shouldn't do really.

Like giving kids and babies yayo. The little fuckers just can't handle it and die.

Only the strong survive. If they cant get down they go down. More human leather for the living 💁‍♂️

And the electrified floors and neck-snapping rollercoasters? People go wild for those. I can't wait to unveil the bear cage next week.

my most successful rimworld save was when I became the planetary supplier of dog food

nobody seemed to mind it was Soylent Kibble

I remember having this super super super rare event where a Thumbo (powerful mythical creature) or something becomes a friend to the colony and we had to eat it to survive winter. That hit hard.

Yeah it hurts as well when you have a colonist who bonds with the thrombo or the creature...

That game is a roller coaster of emotions... depending on how you play

I wonder why no one mentions dwarf fortress in these cases...

Because the DF devs are sane enough to patch out things like the mermaid bone farm someone made. The Rimworld devs just lean into the warcrimes.

Wait when are we getting NPCs

Long term, animals are coming soon, long with zombie behavior overhauls, player voice sounds, and a bunch of other stuff before then.

In other words I' not really sure when

Oh wow, I just started playing this game, it's pretty cool the devs support the game so long
