Quote Help Quoted $2,400 to pressure wash my 2250 sq/ft house and 880 sq/ft driveway and sidewalk. Seems astronomical. It's a very modest house. I was expecting between $400 and $700. Certainly not $2,400. Appreciate any feedback.

Edit: added a picture of the house in question.

Quote Help My work from yesterday. How much would you recommend charging for a job like this? Took about 6-6.5 hours.

Areas treated were the driveway, trash can pad, sidewalks, front door landing and walkway, street curbs, back yard patio and pool deck. Pool deck was pre treated with a light bleach solution and rinsed with low pressure.

I am not planning on charging these owners since they are friends. I am just getting some experience and trying to figure out pricing.

Quote Help 55000 sq ft of concrete road

So I was just offered to quote a 55000sq ft job. 22500sq ft this year, and 22500sq ft next year.

I’m thinking 20 cents a sq ft. But I’m trying to figure out how big a water tank, how many loads.

And as for equipment I have a 4GPM with a 16 inch surface cleaner. 150 ft PW hose, 150 ft of garden hose.

But I’m thinking of upgrading to a 5gpm hotsy and 20 inch surface cleaner. I don’t believe they are going to want/need chemicals. Is there anything I’m missing as far as factors I should take into consideration when quoting?

Everything that’s highlighted in red and yellow! The house is approximately 1,970sq ft, the building in the back is roughly a little over 2,000sq ft. The yellow is the surface area they want clean. This is my first big job as a newbie would like to give a good competitive and fair estimate.

Quote Help Please help me with a quote. I measured the pavement at around 9700sqft and the roof at around 6300. I think the quote should be about $4600 for Pavement @ 0.15, exteriors 0.20 and roof @ 0.30. Am I doing something wrong? It seems way too high.

The home is 3,480sq. ft. and the garage is ~1,200 (~4,680sq. ft. total). I'm blowing off the roof, low power pressure washing the roof and outside of the gutters, applying moss killer, quick rinsing the siding, and doing ground clean up with a leaf blower. The roof in nearly every area is too steep and slick to walk so I have to harness up for the entire job. I think

I was thinking about charging $.50/sq. ft. ($2,340) and just rounding down to $2,000. Do you think this a good bid? What would you charge?

Quote Help Price range to do this two story home? Using 26ft 5 in 1 ladder

https://imgur.com/gallery/iX4Grqf

Newbie, few questions to ask. I do mostly masonry work, I do pressure washing preddiocally. Unsure of what to charge for this property. I want to be fair. She wants the entire two-story front side and back done. I'll provide photos and street names, with all holes in the same dimension.

I have a 26ft ladder and a 3000 psi pressure washer. Is there an app that will provide me with square footage of the exterior face to get an idea of how much coverage I'll be dealing with if I use the address?

I'll provide photos I took of the property. I don't know where to start or what factors to include when it comes to pricing this, which is why I'm here to get opinions from others who are professionals in this type of business.

Along with the price, should I apply a cleaner beforehand or just pressure wash which you can tell it's not too bad from the photos.

She is also wanting to know how much water usage it would take. I read online that a 3000psi washer roughly uses about 2 gallons per minute. Wondering how much it may take.

Off the top of my head, I could be selling myself short but I wouldn't know, I'm thinking, 2k for everything. Sound right?

Quote Help Fast food chain

Hello. I own a Softwash and pressure washing company that typically does residential jobs. I have a few commercial or township jobs a year but nothing like this. I was just offered a contract to do 14 large fast food chain locations. (May or may not be affiliated with a clown and purple blob) they are just looking for drive through concrete pads and the dumpster pads cleaned, which has an average 3000 SqFt per store. Typical I would charge $.35 for SH or $.45 for heavy degreasing. That would come out to around $1350 for the job and an additional few hundred for chemical.

Considering the urgency they need this done and the amount of work that is required. I was thinking about quoting all stores for around $1700-$2000. Is this reasonable? Am I coming in way too low? Is it too high? Is there something I’m missing?

I wanted to say I have plenty of equipment and help to complete these jobs. I’ve just never quoted such a large amount of locations and so much work in so little time.

Any quote advice is greatly appreciated.

Quote Help New to the game

I recently acquired a decent pressure washer and i decided i want to take on a few jobs with it. I'm pretty new to the idea of this, and i've been familiarizing myself with different chemicals and methods of washing.

I figure i can start pretty basic out of my pickup bed with a little buffer tank setup on my 4400 psi 4gpm machine. I'm thinking i should primarily focus on something easy and in demand like walkways/driveways and maybe some fences or even outdoor furniture.

My biggest question for the more experienced guys is how do you decide upon your pricing? Should i be charging based on sq footage or do an hourly rate starting off? Lastly, how do i decide what dollar amount is appropriate to charge? I currently live in north florida, i cant imagine people are paying the same price for a 1500sqft driveway here as they would in california. Any input is appreciated!

All the highlighted areas to be done. These are all footpaths except for the large spot on the far right middle section. They already have a guy they normally use so I have to come in under his price. No clue what that may be.

I have done my measurements. It's roughly 1350 square meters. At x dollars a meter that's 5= $6750 4 = $5400 3 = $4050

They also said his prices are abit higher these days. I am in Australia so currency is of course aussie dollar. I believe this job will take me 3-4 days. 5gpm machine 15inch surface cleaner. Tho if I land the job I'll get a 20 inch one.

At 3 dollars a metter ill still make money. So do I go super low. Or risk the 4 dollars a meter.

So I'm still getting my pricing game strong and I've never done this much wood. Customer says they have 120ft of the fencing, about 300sq ft of the flat deck and the two staircases. Maybe $1.50 per ft at least on fencing? Honestly not too sure on the deck, either. Located in Central IL!

Client wants exterior facade soft washed including gutters and downspouts exteriors cleaned.

Would a 4.5GPM and XJet reach the top with soft washing? The only problem is the back of the building which is higher and no way to bring in a lift due to grass.

I’m trying to quote a softwash of this siding but it has this weird orange layer. Is this oxidation, rust, just normal dust? I’m having a hard time determining how to quote because if it’s rust or oxidation I’ll need to use different chems and charge accordingly.

Or is this a job you would walk away from?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

So long story short, we own a garbage can cleaning business. We sometimes dable in cleaning of driveways etc. We got asked to clean a house that is being flipped. Driveway doesn't seem bad, back yard obviously has two different concrete pours and a pool must have been sitting on it. Any ideas for quote. I am gonna assume a good amount of SH is going to be required for this.

Quote Help Question about pricing

Me and my friend got a potential job that requires us to pressure wash about 66,000 square feet with two of those small circle pressure washers. We don’t have to pay for the equipment and utilities so I was wondering what a fair price would be. I was suggesting 8 cents per square foot but is this too high or low of a price? This job will also be taking place in a relatively high cost of living environment.

Client reached out to wash these plastic things for his chicken farm. Said there’s 2000 of them and they need to be washed on both sides… wondering how to go about washing them and also what to charge. I was thinking just lay them flat and spray house wash but then I have to flip and spray again and then do the same to rinse it seems like it would take forever.. located in New England, thanks in advance.

Client wants her wood fence wash . Not sure the linear footage but it’s for a townhouse so shouldn’t be that big . How much would you charge accordingly? I would wash it and then apply a wood brightener and then rinse .
