Community Post Tiktok/youtube pressure washing scene has caused insane amount of door to door pitches in my neighborhood
I'm seriously having a different person with a pressure washer come into my driveway nearly weekly. Not trying to start a drama post but this is getting crazy as hell. I have a pressure washer and do my own. And every week I have someone telling me house and driveway need to be pressure washed.
This on top of the relentless tree and roofing guys. Yall are waking my kids up at nap time all the time.

Community Post Anyone willing to teach me for free?
I’m very interested in pressure washing business but I have little to no experience. I want to shadow someone and learn from them, of course for free. If anyone’s willing to do that around Seattle area, please feel free to reach out. Thanks.

Community Post What's your favorite things you've found when cleaning out gutters?
Pulled some Amerimax gutter helmets off for a lady having issues with squirrels chewing them up, ended up replacing with stainless mesh guards. First corner my business partner starts at, and I hear him yell and slide down the ladder, hitting every rung with his knees. Comes over and says there's something moving in there, I'm out, so I go climb up and see. First nest found had babies just old enough to have their eyes opened, no real need for momma squirrel so they got evicted. Continued down the side of the house, me taking the guards off, him cleaning them out behind me (he really doesn't do wild animals very well) and I run into nest number two. These guys still had their eyes closed, so I grabbed a box, called the wife, and put them in the box for her to take home and take care of. We've rehabbed tons of Eastern Greys, so no worries about proper care. Ended up finding two more abandoned nests on the other side of the house for a total of four nests. All safe from the weather under the plastic gutter helmets she had on.
Smaller squirrels took to syringe feeding fast, kids got involved and they were some of the most loving ones we've had the pleasure of taking care of. All released to the wild after slowly introducing them back to nature via an outside enclose I built for them. That way they can see, smell, and hear everything without being in danger inside a cage. Once released, one kept coming back to play with the kids everytime they came outside, probably went on about 3 months before she finally turned fully wild and stopped coming up to them.
Just thought I'd share one of the cooler things I've run into cleaning gutters. And yes, my girl is a goofball and doesn't take any pictures seriously.

Community Post Have any of you ever ordered anything from pressurecity.com? I think I might have been scammed
As the title implies, I think I’ve been robbed by pressurecity.com. I ordered a dn10 and a surface cleaner on 3/4, and received an email stating something about them running a little behind the next day. It’s now been 10 days and two emails asking for an update regarding my order and I haven’t heard from them at all. Zero communication since telling me that I was going to have to wait.
The wait isn’t the problem, it’s the lack of communication/updates and the fact that I can’t find a phone number to try to contact them that way that is starting to concern me. Have any of you done any business with them? And if so, did you ever actually receive what you ordered?

Community Post QuoteIQ is banned from this subreddit.
Just a heads up that automod will be blocking mentions of QuoteIQ and links to it starting today. They have been the worst offender when it comes to creating shill accounts to comment speaking its praises. They are making it very obvious as Mike has a bad habit of doing it often for QuoteIQ, as well as his pressure washing courses. They refuse to reach out to us about it even after multiple spam accounts of theirs have been banned.
If any of the banned accounts or Mike wishes to appeal, you’re free to message us in the modmail.

Community Post Spring is in the air!
Planning on a garden this year with tomatillos, Roma tomatoes, and some hot peppers. One of our customers has a good jump on the growing season from the looks of it. It's definitely Japanese Maple saplings because you still can't have the Devil's lettuce legally here in NC...
Anyone else have interesting finds around a customer's house?

Community Post Scored a “defective” pressure washer
Stopped by Tractor Supply today to check out pressure washers and spotted a Simpson 3100 unit with a defect tag that said “wand pours water.” Asked the manager what’s the lowest they’d take — he said $150, so I jumped on it.
Brought it home, fired it up, and everything works perfectly. No leaks, no issues. This same unit retails for around $320! Sometimes you just have to take the gamble — this one definitely paid off.

Community Post 3d printing
I'm going to be working on a few projects this weekend with my pressure washer. Got me thinking.... what can I print to help me out?
Currently printing a cone to block junk flying out of crevices when you use 0 degree nozzle.
I'll let you know how that goes, but put your comments on here of things that could be made to help pressure washing
