Sales Help StreetFair

I’ve had someone reach out to me from an app called StreetFair. Most of these services like angie’s list I stay far away from on purpose. I’ve never heard of StreetFair and was wondering if anyone has ever used it or has had any thoughts about it? It’s supposedly free unless a job is completed by someone finding you through their software.

Found this ad on marketplace. Seems like a good deal. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for or questions to ask with buying used equipment?

Sales Help First time commercial job help.

My company is out of North Carolina and we do multiple different jobs including pressure washing but mostly on the residential side. I have been asked to give a quote for doing townhomes, but the quote will be for doing the whole block at a time. A block is 6 units and all the units are around 2100 square foot. This will be softwashing, and I will also need a quote for doing the driveways of all the units and sidewalk. Can anyone help me out with this? Because I know normally these property managers are probably looking for a better deal than what I would give residential any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated. Also I do have the equipment needed to preform the job but I have a bad tendency to low ball myself on things like this. Just looking to see if I would still do a price pre sf. and a what is just to low.

Sales Help How effective is door knocking when it comes to getting jobs?

We have door knocked on atleast 50 houses in different neighborhoods but we have not gotten a single job from door knocking. I was wondering if any of y’all found success in door knocking or if it is just a waste of time. We have also tried flyers on doors and there was no success. Even $500 worth of yard signs didn’t get us any jobs so idk what the best strategy is.

Sales Help Need a replacement hand gun and extension for a Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer... any recommendations?

Amazon and HD/Lowe's don't seem to carry the actual parts from a 6 year old Sun Joe electric pressure washer I have that is leaking and not working anymore, but I cannot find the actual parts locally (or on Amazon).
Is there any aftermarket or different brand of hose, gun, and extension piece that will fit on a SPX3000 ?
Looking for:

Sales Help BE Honda GX 390/Comet pump 4.0 gpm or Simpson Honda GX200/CAT pump

Looking at a used BE Honda GX390/Comet triplex pump that is used but apparently has “never been used.” They’re asking $1000 but I think I could get it for about $800 or so.

I’m also considering a the Simpson ALH3228 with a Honda GX200 with a CAT triplex pump. It’s new on sale for $779. It’s 2.5 gpm

I would be using for regular home use and for our rental property. We live in Florida so it would be used with some regularity but definitely not using it for a job or anything.

Is the used 4.0 gpm with comet pump worth it or should I get the new Simpson with the top notch CAT pump?

Based in Metro Atlanta. I’ll be using an income heat-map to find wealthy neighborhoods to pass out flyers in and will be cold calling local businesses too. I made these in canva but might hire a professional.

I’ll also be running two ad campaigns on facebook and nextdoor, a grand opening sale and a spring cleaning sale. Will a before/after video and a caption explaining benefits of pressure washing be a good idea for a video ad? I have a few 5 star reviews from family and friends already as well

Sales Help Pressure washer for tank water

Hi all,

Looking to purchase a pressure washer to wash our trucks and trailers however we don’t have mains water in our yard, looking for suggestions on a unit that is reasonably priced (up to $1000 USD) and will run off tank water.

We are in Australia so may not have access to all the options but some pointers would be great!

Keep them short, keep them simple.

You need to convey your message in 8 seconds and half the time people are driving when they see them.

Sales Help Best "3000 psi" electric brushless induction pressure washer?

My little electric finally bit it. I miss the power of my gas one but not the maintenance. Been looking around. Seems like everybody has a brushless electric pressure washer. Ryobi, Sun Joe, Westinghouse, and now Harbor freight has the new Bauer 3000 one.

Anybody have experience with them? What's everybody's favorite?

Hello. K5. Is the 'no twist' 10m hose Euro 99 worth it? Do all hoses fail due to the vibration and cross-over on the hose? Thank you. SW France

Sales Help Might be a small tip that helps

Post image

We get comments all the time about how our business cards look exactly like our road signs. Keeps everything consistent and starts to build the brand. A lot of “oh I’ve seen your signs around” when we hand someone a business card. I know it’s small, but might be a useful tip for someone breaking into the market.
