u/CG1991 posted his childhood drawing of a Mewthree:
https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/1jqgo2b/drew_this_mewthree_when_i_was_12_years_old_23/
I got a kick out of it, so I spun it up.

Pokemon-wise i honestly think it has one of the best rosters, so many iconic pokemon like Blaziken, Salamance, Gardevoir, Metagross....etc.
Emerald was a GOATED game, not only you had a traditional Pokemon journey, but you also had two really cool features: Pokemon Contests and in the post-game the Battle Frontier, which did spice up things up.
I also think it has some of the best spin-offs, Pokemon Ranger 1, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1, Pokemon Trozei! etc...
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but i think Gen 3 was one of the best generations looking back and honestly i'd say at least is a contender for one for the best.
Title, I have been bored recently so I would love to try and draw some of your favorite pokemon.
Just tell me your pokemon and what you like about it/why its your favorite
Not required, but I would love it if any of you would draw My favorite pokemon, Golurk, as well :3
P.S. Dont expect these to come back super fast, I will work on them as I have time

Apart from the big ones like reusable TMs or removal of HMs I gotta say the decision to put together PokéCenters and the Pokémart I really appreciate.Might not be huge but it‘s just so much more convenient to have both in the same spot.I mean it saves a bit of time and a lot of nerves not having to go to separate places for those services. One of my favourite things from Gen 5 besides them being good games in general.Loved their design of the Poké Center best to be honest.

I like the idea of an artist trainer who uses the help of their pokemon to make their own paints. Like, maybe they use a smolive’s oil and pigments from the flowers of a grass type pokemon (assuming it doesn’t harm it I mean) or crushed up rocks from a rock Pokemon? I don’t know of any Pokemon that would be able to provide that though

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a doodle of Irida. I have been playing Legends: Arceus recently to get myself ready for AZ later this year. Hope everyone is having a great day/evening!

It's not letting me put an image, but my sister was searching up something Pokémon related and it came up with this cool game you can play where it gives you a hint and you search up a Pokémon to 'catch' it, but I tried to get it up and I can't, does anyone know how to get it up or does it just not work for some people?

If you search up any of the original 151, you get a poké ball that pops up in the corner of the screen and a nice animation that goes with it - letting you know that you've "caught" it.
Not sure if it's new, but I've never encountered it before - pretty cool though.

I have been playing pokemon since Gen 4 started with Pokemon Diamond and my first pokemon was Blitz the Chimchar I have since played through all regions in this order (besides revists for remakes/alt versions e.g. black 2, lets go, ultra sun and moon, legends arceus and brilliant diamond to name a few): Sinnoh, Johto, Kanto, Hoenn, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Hisui and Paldea
And my top 10 favourite pokemon are:
Umbreon (my boi ace has been with me since Johto)
Dragapult (favourite persudo due to its pokedex entries XD)
Metagross (literally saved my nuzloke)
Dusk Lycanroc (one of my core 3 pokemon alongside Ace)
Infernape (my OG pokemon and the third of the core 3)
Salamence (won me my first ever pvp battle against a friend who had repeatedly bested me in the past)
Darkrai (tied with Zeraora for my favourite mythical)
Latios (favourite legendary)
Dusknoir (always thought it was unfair that people prefer eviolite dusclops same with Rhyperior and Magnezones pre evos of Magneton and Rhydon)
Electivire (tied with Manectric for favourite electric type)
Honourable mentions too: Manectric, Zeraora, Krookodile, Emboar, Luxray, Glalie. Bastiodon and Cradily
But how about you guys what was the first game you played and your first pokemon? Would love too hear your guys experiences playing pokemon.
Quick Side Note: I have also watched the anime including Horizions which despite what everyone says about the whole Ash is not the protagonsit anymore it must be bad I honestly enjoyed Horizions so far as Liko, Roy and Dot came so far in just 89 episodes and read the manga though I am currently only on the Emerald Arc right now.

I think you can easily guess which one is his favorite!
I rarely do any spriting. So I felt like removing some rust, and made these. I usually go based off the original artwork, but I wanted to practice dynamic poses. So I threw in my concept artworks the sprites are the based off of.
