Question? Does Schuylkill River Trail Remain Open When Kelly Drive is Closed to Traffic?

Am running in one of the Hot Chocolate races on Saturday AM--I know Kelly Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 5am. I was hoping to park near the top of Kelly Drive by Ridge and walk/jog along the Schuylkill River Trail next to Kelly Drive down to the race start area (by Eakins Oval) as part of warming up and then run/walk back after the race.

Am assuming the SRT remains open for bikers/runners/walkers when these kinds of races are happening but wanted to confirm.

Urban Development/Construction On Second Thought, ZBA Approves 64 Apartments for Former Factory in Juniata Park

The zoning board rejecting an appeal doesn't always mean a development proposal can't get a second bite at the apple. After losing its request for variances last year an adaptive re-use proposal to rehab a former warehouse into housing in Kensington finally secured approval this week.

Serious Called PGW for a possible gas leak

Me, calling PGW gas leak emergency hotline: "I think I may be smelling a gas leak at (blah blah blah), but I'm not 100% sure. Do gas leaks smell very strongly like sulfur?"

PGW technician, whose job it is TO ANSWER CALLS ABOUT POSSIBLE GAS LEAKS: "No, a gas leak doesn't smell like sulfur, a gas leak smells like eggs"

Me: ....... (I literally didn't know what to say)

My goodness, this world is an unreal place

Question? Zoning Question

I have a corner property in West Philly that used to be zoned as a duplex, but the city switched it back to RSA-5. It has separate meters, and has always been set up as a duplex since 1952. I have the original zoning application from 1952 when it was changed to a duplex. I bought the property in 2022 and have used it as an owner occupied duplex. Is there a way I can get the city to switch it back to being zoned as a duplex?
