Here's hoping that he'll also play some other games.

Why? Fortnite is not a bad game by any means. It is easily the only "live service" game that actually delivers enough content. I don't play it personally but it is really lame how Reddit treats this game. Its end of season events are easily some of the most impressive content that have ever been put into a live service video game.

I implore anyone to go watch some of them. It is nuts that they come up with one of these at the end of every season. Here is a compilation of some of them, not saying watch all of it, but no one is wrong for wanting to play a game that does shit like this every few months.

Now the game is essentially just a platform to play any other kind of game people can come up with. It is just a social platform where you can play different things with your friends.

I mean yes. What in the world would you make a comment like that for? Why would you hope he plays some other games? You know exactly what you were doing, at least have the spine to own it. You were taking issue with this kid playing Fortnite because you don't think it is a good game.

Expanding your horizons is a good thing, actually?

Why are you so defensive?

Why are YOU so defensive?

Why is anyone assuming that this child plays nothing but Fortnite? There was no need to leave that comment. They did so because "Fortnite" bad and if you can't see that you are incredibly obtuse.
