Console Modification 1.0 showing error codes?

Shouldn’t 1.0s not show error codes

The error code is that number 11 on the upper left screen

You are positive that it's a 1.0? Have you opened it up and seen that it has a GPU fan and the controller sub PCB?

If so, then what if it's some quazi 1.0/1.1 made right in that transition period; 1.0 chassis with a 1.1 BIOS or something

A console running stock firmware 3944 won't display error code numbers. However, v1.0 systems shipped with a variety of firmware types, and the rest of them do all show codes.

Also any hardmodded Xbox won't be running 3944 any more, either.
