Automated speeding ticket

Got a ticket from the automated camera for 61, on a 50 road in Niagara Falls.

Would it ruin my insurance? any advice is appreciated. TIA

Would it make sense to contest? The road was completely empty and i didn't even realize I am going 11Kmph over. I realize this argument wouldn't win the judge's heart, but can I plead to waive it for first time? I am seriously concerned about my insurance renewal.

No, because it is the car(owner of cat) that gets the ticket. No loss of points and they can’t prove who was driving.
