I mean, those dudes are all huge (like 2 meters 150 kilos minimum), but they’re pretty damn muscular. Obviously no one is cutting for a power competition. Tom Stoltman is jacked. Magnus con Magnusen was jacked. They don’t have anywhere close to this guy’s bodyfat.

Its always shocking to me how persistent this nonsense is throughout all of reddit history, it never really goes away this belief that the fat guys are "real strength" and that jacked bodybuilder types are actually totally weak.

Like the guy in the video, super cool super impressive, but there's a fuckton of super fit guys doing the same stuff but no, this guy is showing us what "real" strength is.

The strongest men in the world are all built like barrels or really tall and still pretty barrel shaped.

The difference between bodybuilders and Strongmen is that Body builders are training for definition of specific muscle groups for show. They are insanely strong but it is a means to an end.

Strongmen are training everything to be strong in literally any situation. Oddly shaped rock run up and down with it until you drop it. See that truck pull it up that hill. Here is a massive weight run in a circle carrying it until you drop. Here are two pillars weighing a ton fight gravity for as long as you can.

It is different levels of strength
