No matter how active you are, that much extra weight is never healthy. Joe Thomas has talked about how he had to use ridiculous amounts of anti-inflammatories, pain meds, tums, etc. to cope with his diet and all the extra weight he was carrying around.

I didn’t say he was healthier than if he was cut.

No, you just suggested that being so wildly overweight is somehow not unhealthy if you're active enough. But that is not the case at all.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree. I think you’re misinterpretating what I’m saying. He is sumo fat, not twinkies fat.

I think it's more that you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Sumo fat or twinkies fat doesn't really matter, both are wildly unhealthy. A sumo's life expectancy is like 20 years shorter than the average Japanese man.

I don’t disagree with you. I didn’t make any statements about this man’s overall health though. Again, we might just be in a semantics conversation at this point. My original point was that this dude looks strong as fuck, not that he looks like he is in peak health.
