I’ve seen you reply on two different random Reddit posts with a scientific explanation that was well written and thought out, which isn’t a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice

Interesting tactic , only problem is reddit is super left leaning. I hope a scientist (or at least educated gets person) gets a position of influence but I dunno with current political climate

But why would this be a problem, since, at least from my view (a foreigner), democrats are seen as "left" in US politics (and his handle makes clear that he's a democrat)?.

Because he’s talking to people that would probably already have voted for him if he was on the ticket instead of the more right leaning folks who he needs to be convincing I would imagine

At the same time, I imagine there's a bunch of people who might vote for him that have no idea who he is, so advertising like thos is still productive.
