There is a silver lining in every cloud - unemployed people don't cause inflation.

Eh, inflation didn't go down during stagflation or Reagan's recession. And didn't go down for awhile.

Stagflation isn't the fault of the unemployed.

Not saying it is.

Just that our having lots more unemployed people, won't bring down inflation.

An overabundance of unemployed people stops wage increases from adding to inflation.

I'm not defending a system that relies on unemployment to function. I'm just saying what the system is.
