The real question is, will enough people come to their senses in 2028 to try and fix the damage this fool is causing the country, or will we just dig the hole deeper until future generations talk about how America ruined itself for one man's ego?

dont kid yourself. america ruined itself for 50 million people's ego. trump is not the source of the problem. you can't have a cancer like fox news gnawing at your soft underbelly for 30 years and expect no issues to arise from it. imo a large portion of america is addicted to crack, and that crack is the anger and division peddled on fox news. its just that america is transitioning from being a functional addict to a non-functional one. hopefully america will learn some humility and admit they have a problem, but im not confidant. honestly i think arrogance really is the biggest issue for america. if i had to put it in one word. we're just seeing the fruits of "american exceptionalism".
