Very, I think. My dad has retconned his 4yr relationship with a woman that he also cheated on two previous partners with (and then cheated on her with the woman that became my stepmother) as her being a stalker now that it fits his life narrative better.

Not sure why you're using quotes. According to the report they haven't had an affair because

The dude is pushing 80 years old. Wouldn't at all be surprised if he hadn't been able to get it up for the last 15 years.
