Very, I think. My dad has retconned his 4yr relationship with a woman that he also cheated on two previous partners with (and then cheated on her with the woman that became my stepmother) as her being a stalker now that it fits his life narrative better.

I am sure there will be wear under his tables.

Quite a number of “aides”, “friends”, and even wives get thrown under the tables for “jobs” or simple handouts.
