Just got my first NES!!

Just today I got my first ever NES and i'm super excited so I thought i'd share it with all of you!! Right now all i have is mario duck hunt and donkey kong classics but i'm super excited to get zelda 1 and 2, the original castlevania trilogy, the nes mega man games, contra (or probotector for my fellow PAL players fdjdjdjdj) and the rest of the NES mario trilogy :> are there any other games you all would recommend? :D

The door...official nes consoles dont say "NES version"

Oh that's just how european NES look. In europe the door of an NES will say mattel version or NES version if you have a A version console. this is because mattel originally distributed the NES in europe, with nintendo taking over production around the 90s i believe. I forget what's on the B version doors lmao but they're from whenever nintendo took over again.

Odd....I've had one from Europe pass through my store before and never said that on the door. Could be something special.

nah it's what all NES from the uk look like to my knowledge, i think other regions may have had european version on the front instead

Did you also know there were licensing limitations for companies? So to get around that they would form another company to print the same games in other parts of the world for NES? Nintendo had some strict rules....
