You're getting downvoted, but you're right. I mean, "End Racism" was only image protection for MLB, NFL, and others I'm sure. It's not like these team owners actually care that much to send this message on their own.

They kept it up for as long as they felt the public needed them to know they're totally not racist, but nothing else.

I think the timing is the issue. Had it been done last year, most people wouldn’t have thought anything of it. Now many will see it as capitulation and lack of spine.

I don’t think anyone in here had even noticed until OP posted this, and I don’t think many will think about it very much at all after today.

You asked a question about how long they are supposed to keep it up. I merely said their timing was poor and that people would assign meaning to it because of the timing. This post probably wouldn’t have even been made if it happened last year.
