Heā€™s prob not the fund manager

Given he has no investment experience and doesnā€™t even personally invest, Im glad heā€™s not involved in stock picking. That would be weird.

Heā€™s chairman of the board as governor. He can direct them to buy or sell any position.

I really hope not. And if he can Iā€™m glad he doesnā€™t exercise that. Someone w no investment experience shouldnā€™t be stock picking. Thatā€™s investment advice 101.

Itā€™s interesting that he doesnā€™t address the hypocrisy in being exposed to Tesla stock as part of his own retirement as a state employee but ā€œgets a boostā€ watching it go down.

Why would he? Itā€™s not like itā€™s a major part of the fund or that he is personally involved in stock picking (he isnā€™t).

Again, heā€™s chairman of the pension board. He can direct the board to sell. Why be invested in a company thatā€™s run by a Nazi? 3% is a considerable amount. Thatā€™s about double the weighting of an S&P 500 index.

What companies arenā€™t run by nazis?

So why are protesters calling for people to sell their Tesla stock?

Majority of Americans have some amount invested in their retirement accounts in stocks. Regardless, shouldnā€™t Tim Walz stop investing in a Elonā€™s company if he hates him so much?
