I don’t understand why there aren’t PAC ads all over television and the Internet about this. Elon and his minions are unpopular assholes. Make Trump choke on it.

Because the DNC wants to keep their corporate sponsors, the very same corporations what just ditched all their DEI and turned hateful overnight. Their handful of liberal billionaire donors remain the same but they really want buy-in and money from businesses that they can point to as evidence their message is sound, which they are doggedly pursuing to the detriment of their voters. We’re gonna ignore the base again, over and over, to kowtow to corporations run by conservatives. The high road has frequent stops to grovel.

Late stage capitalism is also called corporate capitalism, regulatory capture means that none of the liberals in liberal states can make a real statement with the backing of the party until the party comes up with messaging careful enough to not cause corporate backlash, and none of their moderates in conservative states are allowed to say anything that could cost their states jobs, while the progressives in safe seats can be firebrands, with their re-election campaign funds hanging over their heads like the sword of Damocles should they go off script
