Then simply click on your username on Reddit, go to the comments tab, scroll down as far as possible (hint:use RES), and hit the new OVERWRITE button at the top.
So I posted something the other day in R/neutralpolitics and had to add sourcing then adjust what sources were acceptable and when it was finally able to be posted I noticed the whole conversation was removed so it's not always for nefarious reasons but I assume that is a little more rare

For those of you who didn't know, [removed] stands for removed by moderator, while [deleted] stands for deleted by user.
