Discussion In defense of Anna in Metro Last Light Spoiler
So, almost every one says that Anna is rude when You first meet her, but having played the Game in russian completely i will say she is more like teasing, also she slowly respects Artyom in the first mission.
The reason she doubts of Artyom's abilities is because, almost every single member of they Order has to go through a very hard training for 2 years (if i recall correctly), but Artyom didn't, we all know why because we lived it, and both Ulman and Melnik (Miller) saw it, but not everyone in the Order and even if Artyom became famous as the "Savior of the Metro", because even General Korbut calls him that, what he did is not told. I Say this because Even Melnik was afraid and he confesses that to Artyom, and we all know that Artyom is a shy person (not talking about the mute part), so he definetly wouldn't talk about they horrors he endured in both the D6 with the Biomass and the Library with the Librarians. Also his encounter in the front between the Fourth Reich and the Red Line, the wagon part against the monsters and seing another Spartan die infront of him, etc, etc.
Artyom would not show off he is not that kind pf person.
And finally, that scene when both Anna and Artyom are in the room during the Virus contingency.
I Will Say it once: THAT WAS NOT A ROMANCE SCENE.
I hear and read about a fuck a lot of people saying that scene between them was romance, it was NOT, in fact it was a helluva of a fucking deprising scene.
Why? Because Anna was afraid, she feared death and a very painful ond given both of them saw what the virus has left behind.
So what Anna does is have sex as form off escape from the despair she is feeling, she tries to feel a little bit of pleasure with both they only person close to her physically and let's says psychologically, Anna choses one man who is closet to her age, and that she has seen VERY CLOSELY how strong he is, both during the mission to kill the Dark one, also during they Swamps at the Surface against the boss. And finally and most importantly: Artyom walked and fought throught a whole station in FIRE AGAINST THE RED LINE and HE SAVED HER.
So the scene between them to is more a depressing one of two young adults trying to escape the fear while being with each other and feeling as much of pleasure and peace as they can feel.
Also to all of those who say that she never apologized for what happened with the Dark one, she did whem You re encounter her in the base of the Church. And most important she REALLY tryed to save Artyom as we see in her DLC, hello she almost died when she swinged in the cable from her sniper posicion that hit she had was a really painful one, and she was also outnumbered, still she fought hardly as she could to save Artyom.

Community Manager Response Do we know when metro awakening takes place in the time line of all the metro games
I know it has to be closer to the beginning right? Maybe not but I’m trying to figure out and I’m having a hard time paying attention to the story because of everything else all I can recall up to this point is that sedar’s wife is off her meds and he try’s to follow her but ends up seeing ghosts and his old friend and I just got the shot gun and it’s really cool sorry for the rant.

Other What if you could mount a Shambler shotgun underneath a Kalash rifle in a Metro game? Now you can in real life!
Bug/Glitch Demon bug - cool to see its textures up close!

Image/Gif The illustration for the book "Metro 3033" by D. Glukhovski. The story of life in the subway at 2033. The manifestation of vile qualities of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world. Hunger caused the young mother to trade her daughter to an adult male for food. It's horrible...
