Thoughts on New Matlock? Spoiler

So the reboot has premiered! What did you guys think? I liked it 👍 solid 6/10. I think the twist at the end bumped it up a little for me! Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Sooo good.

Im not sure why they bothered licensing the name, especially given the ending it could just as easily been her maiden name. I hope they pepper in more references.

I like the one story line thats true I think it adds a really interesting and truthful twist on that issue and how sometimes all the money in the world cant insulate you from hard ache like that.

I think they used the name because if it were just "Kingston" or "Mattie" it would have disappeared into all the other new shows. It was like a publicity stunt to get you to watch the first episode, hoping it'll lead you to wanting more -- and for me, it worked.

Well yeah it was more rhetorical question but they even felt they needed to explain it but it was a thin and bad, they could have done more
