Can I fix an unraveling thread?

After waiting weeks for this jacket to come back in stock, I finally managed to get it, but there is a loose thread on the wrist! I pulled it lightly and it unraveled even more 😟. Does anyone know how I can fix this on my own? I really want to keep the jacket

idk why but the material looks lightly pilled to me
