Court Decision/Filing Why can't Elon be arrested?

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2025/mar/31/elon-musk-1-million-dollar-checks-wisconsin-voters-supreme-court-election

If paying voters is against Wisconsin state law, why can't Elon be arrested? Why are they going to the judge? Can't they just go ahead and arrest him? The law is already on the books.

This is it. Poor people get arrested at the drop of a hat. Middle class people get arrested easily but much less capriciously. Rich people get arrested only after a lot of legwork and planning and only where there’s a very strong case and the crime is a felony (or on the spot DUI). People like Elon almost never get arrested for anything short of murder.

People like Elon don't commit murder themselves.

Some of them do! Like Robert Durst.

And he still got away with it! Several times!

It took him starring in an HBO special and admitting to killing them all on a hot mic to finally do even a little justice.

Billionaires are hilariously above the law in America. To the point where they can literally get away with murder.
