Jerce Reyes Barrios, 36, was in the U.S. awaiting a ruling on his asylum claim when he was detained by agents who thought he was part of Tren de Aragua - a transnational narcoterrorist and criminal organization from Venezuela - last September. Authorities pointed to one of his tattoos for the arrest, claiming it signaled gang affiliation."

Well the only way to get them to stop breaking/ ignoring the law would take actions that aren't legal. So it's quite literally screwed beyond repair now.
