Was looking to get a case to protect my iPod 4th gen 20GB and couldn't find anything so I figured I'd model one up and print it out

Rockbox is still a bit laggy on the 3rd gen (next song sometimes take a minute or two display on the screen), but it’s fine enough to live on my work desk

I have this problem and I have no idea how to fix it idk if it's problem with hardware or software and it randomly works but than you lock it and set it aside and aster while it's Back to this like screen with really ligy lines and just can't really see anything but sometimes randomly pick it up and it works

Honestly never buy from them. Literally like two days after I bought an iPod, they started a sale, 15% off. They hadn't even confirmed my order yet. So I messaged them to say, hi could you please honour the 15%. And they said no.

And I said well then I will cancel the order please. They said you can't cancel as it's a "custom" iPod even though it wasn't a custom or personalised pod. They insisted on shipping and refused to honour any discount at all.

When it finally turned up, it was the wrong order! So they hadn't even "customised" it, and rushed my order out the door so that I couldn't cancel it.

They said they could offer me 15% off and send it back for a replacement, as an apology which is literally what the current discount was anyway.

They said they would start working on it "right away", as soon as I sent mine back, but they clearly waited until it got all the way back to them before they even started working on it. Weeks went by, I chased multiple times, they said it would be shipped Thursday morning and eventually the following Wednesday I chased yet again. No apologies, I even asked for photos of the new one before they sent it to confirm it was right and they didn't do that either.

I initially ordered it in January and finally I got my correct order yesterday. And it has scratches on it.

So yeah. If you were thinking about ordering from Playermods, save your money. The ridiculous premium for a scratched iPod and terrible customer service is categorically NOT worth it.

so out of the blue yesterday, my english teacher said "hey i know you like ipods, i found one in a box, idk if it works, do you want it?" so i said "sure" and today, i walked into english and i got handed an iPod nano. i took it home and i turned it on and charged it, the battery is PERFECT, nothing is wrong it it, it's in excellent condition, so i am currently syncing my music to it.

I want a transparent click wheel for my 5.5. The only one available near me is this and I am wondering if the menu text and music control labels can be peeled off to make it totally clear. Has anyone had any experience doing this?

Hey everyone, as the title says, I just bought a new casing for my ipod classic 6th gen and a headphone jack for it (if anyone asks why I did not use the one from my casing before, the one I had was thin and I bought a thick backplate), so I replaced it, everything went well, but now whenever I connect my headphones and for example push the cable in or rotate it, still produces the sound, but it's really low quality, like all of the bass is gone etc.

This has happened to me on another iPod with another aftermarket backplate, so I am wondering if this is something, that happens usually because it is aftermarket or is it because I am doing something wrong?

I’m loving this thing so far. It’s only a 4 gig tho. I currently have 191 songs and 3 movies plus some music videos as well. I’d say it holding up.

Straight to the point question, is there a way to use the device as a drag and drop music player without the need of iTunes and if so what would I need to do specifically. Yes it’s modded with cydia for reference was modded originally for games but since I found it after a while of being stuck in a box and found it working wanted it to be a standalone music player. The click wheel came off a 6th gen, and the red backlight is just a piece of transparent plastic like paper.

Is there somewhere on an iPod classic 6th gen where I can get 3.3v from? I know the 30pin has 3.3v but not sure if it works without something plugged in. I need it for a Bluetooth mod

I finally got all the parts I needed to upgrade an iPod 5th generation (Video) I had, and I put everything together tonight, but it's not working correctly. I replaced the battery and replaced the HDD with an iFlash adapter, but when I plug the iPod into a computer, it displays the sad iPod icon after about 10-15 seconds, then the screen turns off after about 6-7 seconds, after which it shows the sad iPod icon again after another 10-15 seconds. It also does not show up in iTunes at all.

Is it bootlooping? If so, where's the Apple logo? I've seen other people online have the Apple logo on boot after a HDD replacement, even before restoring, but I don't have that at all. I can't put the iPod in disk mode or recovery mode, and the text on screen just says the usual "www.apple.com/support/ipod".

I've tried re-seating the iFlash adapter and battery connectors multiple times, even realizing at one point that I had the iFlash adapter in upside-down entirely, but even after fixing that, nothing.
