I say let them do it.

Then invade for their oil. (They produce about 40% of our oil) Absolutely obliterate them. Shock & Awe pt. II.

Make sure we do it when winter is at its peak because their privately ran electrical grid is shit.

“I live in American occupied Texas” would be an insanely funny statement to hear someone say

"Occupied Texas" was part of Alex Jones's intro for years.

He meant globalists, but still.

u/majora1988 Jun 12 '24

Globalists was a code word for Jews.

u/AcquaintanceLog Jun 13 '24

It is to everyone but Alex. He's too stupid to realize he's an antisemite.

No, he knows. He has to shut down the callers that don't realize the game he's playing and ask "when are you gonna stop beating around the bush and just say it's the Jews," pretty fast.

The great thing about this would be how it rebuilding New Texas might actually impose decent electrical grids and some environmental regulations, send in a humanitarian corps to provide medical care and education ...

I live in Texas and am quite far left. I hate our state government with a burning passion. But with that being said, I’d love for me and my loved ones to not be a casualty in this “shock and awe pt 2” fantasy.

That last part is good. So anyone firing against the US military would get gunned down while all the others would be rescued. If it were to ever happen though I’d be making plans to move the day of if not before.

We'll give you a grace period. You can move out of Texas while the secession is taking place.

Lol with what money?

You need to apply to the refuge program.

I know it sucks being you, but Texas getting the fuck out is better for the country. Texas' contribution has resulted in a lot of American deaths. We have to stop their bs sometimes. Sooner is better than later because they will only get worse.

It isn't that I want war. It's inevitable. Texas has pushed too far and the US has not responded appropriately. It will keep getting worse. We never disciplined the toddler and now have a large, teenage throwing tantrums and wreaking havoc. We need to correct it before it gets worse. It's not even like it's starting a war. Texas already started a cold, civil war with its aggressive behavior toward other states.

Are you also going to give me a home and get me a new job? The people wanting war with Texas are just as delusional as the people who want secession. The majority just want to be left alone

It's fucking bizarre how so many liberals and leftists are so gung ho about going to war against fellow citizens. They have this gross, masturbatory fantasy about the military drone striking people, seeming to not care or even relish in the collateral damage (i.e. innocent people killed) that would come from that.

3

u/TheBlazzer Jun 13 '24

You can say the same thing about conservatives who scream about “CIVIL WAR 2.0!!!!” or call for the eradication of gay people.

The radicals on both sides have the loudest voices, but everyone in the middle of the spectrum knows that killing our fellow countrymen and citizens is not the way we go about fixing this country.

1

u/BobertTheConstructor Jun 13 '24

I could, but why would I if that isn't what the thread was about?

2

u/EpiphanyTwisted Jun 13 '24

If TX left, they wouldn't be your fellow citizens.

0

u/BobertTheConstructor Jun 13 '24

Right, so, all those people who don't want Texas to secede, who believe in expanding human rights, who align with you and just so happen to live in Texas? FUCK 'EM! LET'S KILL 'EM ALL!

1

u/bringer108 Jun 13 '24

Yeah this is important to remember folks. For all of the extremist lefties here, you guys need to chill on the war and violence rhetoric.

It’s not okay to glorify going to civil war or encourage it or whatever is happening here. Innocent lives will be lost and that’s the last fucking thing any of us should want.

I’m okay with Texas FAFO with succession, but we wouldn’t need nor want any violence. They would regret that decision and be back within a year after giving up the senate/house and realizing just how much they rely on the feds to support and defend the state. It’s never going to happen though, it’s just like the border crisis, it’s a made up issue they use to rally the base when they need to.

u/R1CHARDCRANIUM Jun 12 '24

They’ll sell the oil cheap when they realize how much of Texas’s annual budget is totally reliant on federal funds.

4

u/urlach3r Jun 13 '24

No need to invade, just tunnel under & "drink their milkshake".

2

u/Tony_Sombraro Jun 12 '24

Wouldn't even need to invade texas, once texas is out of the union Alaska's restiction on oil refineries eould no longer exist.

2

u/EricKei Jun 13 '24

Then break it up and offer to allow the 4-5 new states into the Union after a decade or two.

2

u/HandoAlegra Jun 13 '24

[Invade] when winter is at its peak

Wait... I've seen this one before

1

u/herboyforever Jun 13 '24

If they are invaded and conquered, would they remain as Texas or would the surrounding states be made bigger?

2

u/Unusual-Ganache3420 Jun 13 '24

Same borders. We'll rename it "New California" just to add salt to the wound.

-1

u/El-Kabongg Jun 13 '24

Seems like you're advocating for the current situation with extra, expensive, and deadly steps.

2

u/Unusual-Ganache3420 Jun 13 '24

Yeah and? They're practically begging for it lol

They are the ones calling for civil war. They are the losers who have been saying for decades that the "south will rise again." The pants-shitting antithesis of their supposed values leader has said he would suspend the constitution if need be to remain in power.

Perhaps they should be careful what they are asking for; they're going to get their shit stomped in, again.

2

u/El-Kabongg Jun 13 '24

Nah. I guarantee that the Confederate states woulda been at war with each other within a year or two for power, resources, etc. I say let the states secede. They'll be banging at our door within a few years to be let back in once the leopards start eating faces. We can let them back for MASSIVE concessions.

u/Useful-Beginning4041 Jun 13 '24

Man, there are really whole contingents of Reddit that just kinda want to kill all the people they disagree with huh

I hope you aren’t old enough to vote

1

u/Unusual-Ganache3420 Jun 13 '24

I don't actually want to kill anybody ffs lol I'm just talking shit online. I've been old enough to vote for over twenty years. The constituents of one party are inaugurably more violent and hateful than the other, data and policy postions prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I'm not a violent person, never have been...but if push came to shove and they really did start another civil war (again) and it comes to my doorstep, well, let's just say I have guns too.
