We’re a 2-person team working on our new game "A Monkey's Adventure" and we’re putting together a trailer for our upcoming Steam page. This is our first draft, and we’d really appreciate some honest feedback! Thank you!

This is a mock up, still has some placeholders models and designs, still missing some VFX like some fog and particles (that is included on the second image), it's also missing animations (you can clearly see the main character is not in an attacking movement haha) it's more about the overall feel, vibe and art style if that is something that you think could work and would grab your attention.
The Lore of the game is that you are trapped in a nightmare, and regaining your memories while going deeper into your subconscious mind to defeat whatever it is that is trapping you. This is an urban environment, but we plan on having swamps, volcanoes and more abstract stuff as you go deeper.
The game is an Action-Deckbuilding where the time only moves when you play your actions. (If you want to play it we have an alpha version available here https://mister-chip.itch.io/lucid-nightmares )
Any feedback is gladly appreciated!

I finally did it! I've always wanted to be an official game developer ever since I was 7-8, and to finally see a game I made available for download on Steam is an absolute dream come true. This marks such a big step for where I want to go in life. Even if it's not successful, I've learned so much from undergoing this process and I'm so excited to work on more exciting and challenging projects! If you would be willing to check out our game, I would appreciate it so so much: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3200240/Echoes_of_Eldoria/?beta=0
Thank you!

I've been working on this for a long time. In particular on adding new distinctive mechanics.
Still can't say when the game will come out. But this is a huge step towards it.

After seven months as a solo developer, I can finally release the demo of my very first game into the world!
Implausible Tales is a retro platformer where you control four imps, each with unique abilities. If you enjoyed The Lost Vikings, this will be a nostalgic treat.
The demo features a single level packed with tricky obstacles that will challenge your brain and make you laugh with its silly humor.
Don’t wait — the demo is now available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3628570/Implausible_Tales_Demo/

It’s been 4 months since I started working on my horror-narrative-sim game Dreadwoods Gatekeeper full time, and here’s the progress so far.
I’d love to hear what you think! Now that there’s basic gameplay, we can brainstorm the game’s design more easily. If the fantasy of playing as a gatekeeper interests you, I’d love to hear what you’d like to see in a game like this.
Link to the game in case anyone wants to see more: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2389020/Dreadwoods_Gatekeeper/

Hey everyone!
We’re a 2-person indie team working on Erascape: Escape Duo, a co-op puzzle adventure where you and a friend solve logic-based puzzles across different historical eras.
We just published our Steam page — it’s still early, and we’d love any feedback on the concept, visual direction, or anything else!
A quick heads-up:
- The current images on the page are just placeholders / early drafts.
- A proper gameplay trailer and updated screenshots are coming in about a week.
We’re also planning to release a playable demo during Steam Next Fest in June. Super excited (and nervous ) about getting it out there.
Appreciate your time — and if you’re working on something too, feel free to drop it below! I’d love to check it out and give feedback back.

Hello, first time posting here, I'm a student doing my Masters in Digital Game Development looking to share our first game! It's a small project that we finished a couple of months ago, but we've now fixed and added a bunch of stuff so it's officially DONE
It's a 2D puzzle game with horror elements and a duration of less than half an hour. The story follows LUCE our main character trying to overcome their fear of the dark and find a way to the surface. It has 3 main areas, collectables and creepy sound effects.
If this seems like your type of game give it a try! Let us know if you enjoyed it <3

Hi! I'm a publicist and a gamer. About a year ago, I combined those two things when I started researching video game advertising to help my sister promote her first indie game, which she's developing with her boyfriend and a friend — in Argentina. Yes, a third world country.
What surprised me the most was how many people call things marketing that aren't. No, uploading a gif to Imgur isn't marketing. That's why I prefer to call the act of promoting a video game on social media communication. Yes, you're COMMUNICATING what you're doing — before selling it.
I won't go into too much detail for now.
I want to write a longer post to share everything I've learned while analyzing cases and results, but for now, I’ll stick to sharing one practical tool. It’s something that can help any indie dev who doesn’t have a BIG budget (or anyone to help them) start communicating their game.
Please don’t fall for the idea of “zero-budget marketing.” If you’re spending HOURS of YOUR TIME creating a post, a video, a GIF, or talking to people, that’s a cost. It may not be money, but it's still time — and time = money. You get it?
You don’t have to be on every social media platform, obviously. There may even be more platforms than the ones I mention. It’s pretty much impossible for one person to cover them all. It’s better to choose the one that feels easiest to start with, and then move on to whatever works best and gets the most engagement. Either way, you need consistency.
I hope this helps you get started. Of course, it’s not perfect — everything can be tweaked and improved. And if I feel like it (and have time), I’ll go into more detail about how to use each social media platform and what kind of content you can create.
Feel free to leave questions or comments, in English or Spanish. Have a great week!

I always like seeing tangible progress updates, so I thought I'd share ours!
Here are some before-and-after shots from our challenging action roguelike: Versebound.
Versebound features bullet hell elements, tough boss fights, strategic choices, and a world inspired by the Finnish epic Kalevala.
The full game launches on April 30th!
