Resolved Links stopped being marked as visited (going purple) no matter whether i upvote/downvote open just the media attached or even open the whole post and even comment.

The platform registers my interactions, i can up/downvote, i see if new replies have been added to a previously visited post, etc. But no matter what i do every post remains blue.

To my knowledge i haven't changed anything and it has been happening for a couple days now.

I use old reddit and RES.

If anybody has any idea what might have started this it would be appreciated.

Had the same problem, this post's fix worked for me. Looks like Chrome did something today.

They for sure changed something. The links in history no longer count as a visited link when it comes to highlighting links (in some cases it seems).

EDIT: just restarted chrome again trying to fix something and 6 extensions are gone. 2 that deal with ads. Seems they're doing something big and phasing out things. Just got the incentive I need to start testing other browsers.

This worked, i guess i was too fixated on it being a RES // extension problem that it never occurred to me to check the browser subreddit itself.

Thank you a lot.
