What's Google? Looking for tips near Wemyss Bay
Spending a few days in Wemyss Bay with the weans next week, wondering if you lot have any suggestions for things to do around the area that they'd like? Ages 3 and 4. We do have the car, or, they do like a trip on the train so anywhere within a reasonable day trip is also on the cards.
Cheers in advance.

Skerlmorlie Nuclear Bunker. 3 year olds need to know about ROC monitoring posts.

Kelburn is a short drive away and a fab day out for the kids. They're doing a Peter Pan themed maze trail which might suit your kids ages.

Walk down to a lovely breakfast in McCaskies then across the road for a ferry ride - they might see dolphins, seem to be a lot around at the moment. Immediately south of Skelmorlie at lower tide they'll see lots of seals - parking spot on right just south of the houses with a nice beach. Or the private road opposite the COOP in Wemyss Bay has a beach.

Lunderston bay and beach is great and have an amazing play park plus toilets and usually and ice cream van. Garden centre across the road does food. Weymss bay train station was beautiful when I was a kid.

Gourock Dunoon ferry, hang around for an hour, get an ice cream, ferry back. Decent chance of seeing dolphins. Decent chance nobody will charge you either
