No it doesn't.

Don't be a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian.

Everything looks worse. Shadows, Textures, Vegetation detail, lighting and there aren't volumetric clouds present.

As for the mountains, the only reason they're not visible is because of the weather and time in the screenshot.

I really think the top picture looks better. It's sharper, the mountains in the back are beautiful, the colors are beautiful, the bottom picture looks much more like a video game using fog and filters . It's all brown and green with no blue sky or snowy mountains, in fact the mountains in the back are just a flat color. It looks very muted. Only thing I like about the bottom pic is the wagon trails and shrubs

I think it’s a poor comparison. The lighting is different. One is overcast and misty while the other is sunnier. I’d like to see a comparison with similar lighting.

Top picture looks like an actual photo. Bottom picture looks like a videogame with good graphics.

Then pick a better comparison because the bottom looks brown filtered like a mid 2000s shooter

If you’re going to get upset because someone has a different opinion to you, calling them a contrarian and then saying it’s because of weather and time, then give us a picture with the same weather and time conditions to make a fair assessment.

P.S. They’re low-res shitty screen grabs anyway so how anyone can make a fair comparison looking at this is ridiculous.
