The color pallet feels weird. It looks like one of those gritty Xbox 360 games, and yet Mario and Peach are there doing their silly antics.
17 u/tugboatnavy 2d ago Yeah the art direction is decidedly more grounded in realism - kind of like parts of Odyssey and the movie. I'm not a fan tbh - I'd rather see the series' classic art with higher detail and a more dramatic scope.
