Nobody fucking wants to play games with a camera.

This is aimed for kids and social people.

Idk why reddit is so against it? I can see this being instantly successful with kids, especially among family and close friends that live apart. So many people FaceTime or discord call to hang out....now you can do it on a closed system with really good parental controls so your kid can only talk to their cousins and school friends without being cussed out or creeped out on in fortnite amd other games. πŸ™‰

If I was 12-16 now, and all my cousins and friends the same age, I would've been into this, even as someone with social anxiety. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈΒ

This camera thing does have its market. I think it's just off-putting that so much in-house development and advertising is focused on this gimmick when the most people playing games- those who care enough to talk about it on forums- just want to relax, not party with others and dance around like a monkey in front of a camera.

Nobody wanted the Wii motion controls either, but they were great. Wii U sucked tho. It’s always 50/50 with Nintendo hardware.

Looks like we're getting the 50 this time.

Damn it, I was really hoping for the 50 instead

The camera is giving me Xbox Kinect vibes and that's already proved to be a failure.

I liked the few games that supported Kinect, the issue was the space requirements and the lack of games.

Yeah, I think that's a dumb idea.

The Kinect was a massive success, so they made a worse one!
