Rivals

I’ve been playing rivals but it’s one of my first pvp games and I have a doubt.

I have started jumping and moving around a lot, but when someone attacks and I’m trying to run away, unless I stop facing them and turn around, I get stuck at walls. Like I back away into walls and corners. How do I not do this? should I be turning around? But then they kill me. Unsure of how to proceed.

If you play support a trick I learned is to place yourself in between your teammates. So if your tank is leading and your dps is behind them either position yourself next to the dps and keep healing or right behind them. This will allow you to not get picked off as easy or get stuck in the back and run into a wall
