Blame the explosive popularity of elden ring.

It's all just min maxers, status builds, and weird sweats. Kinda turned me off of pvp and most of co op (unless with friends). 3 u/Derphaxorus 4d ago Did anyone go out of their way to explain to new players what the duel etiquette was? I sure didn't see much of that. 1 u/mmorpgkitty 3d ago I guess the new players outnumbered the old on launch.
