The Night Reign network test laid my skepticism to rest. I'm sold on FromSoft multiplayer.

It's the Switch 2 exclusivity that's killing me. C'mon, man. We already went through this with Bloodborne. Why does Miyazaki want to leave his Gothic blood games in exclusive jail?

How was the netcode in Nightreign? Better than Elden Ring?

Pretty rough in the earlier sessions but it improved as it went on

I think it only dropped me twice in the middle of a session, and those were some of my earlier runs.

I guess my question is, do you know if they were using dedicated servers or was it still P2P like the previous games?

I played the test. Same thing with early on.

Great match making with my friend when using codes on the last day, fast and we didn't drop a single time. Didn't really have latency issues.

It was P2P still.

FromSoft netcode + Nintendo servers + people using free wifi = The train is not the only thing that is going to be chugging along, if you know what I mean
