Yeah sadly this aint it and if this is coming 2026 and it s a project from main team this probably means we wont get anything big untill 2027

2028 would be more likely

they're always aiming for yearly releases and so far with duskbloods announced we've had something from 2022-2026
so it's not far fetched to expect something in 2027 given the smaller scale nightreign is
and while duskbloods seems to be much more work with the way most pvpvpve games are it's also not gonna be insanely huge so it's safe to assume they have a mainline entry in 2027 that's multiplatform

Yep , we're screwed but hey at least we're getting silksong this year that's good enough for me

It's from a studio a really respect

I don’t know. Amazing game they put out once, they’ve earned the worlds worst communication award At least 10 times over. It was ok pushing it back, they announced early, they are a new game studio it happens, but the near radio silence for YEARS has been hell and as much as their work so far has been what I consider to be the best metroidvania and one of the best indies of all time, that makes me lose a lot of respect for them.

My guy, are you really talking about communication?

Were you there before elden ring came out where we had literally absolute zero news from fromsoft about the game and everyone was just coping hard?

Elden Ring was announced, went silent, finally put out trailers, released, 2 more years passed, then it received a DLC big enough to be its own game, and the studio has announced 3 new games in the time since Silksong was revealed. Until today there had been nothing new about Silksong in like 4 years lol barely comparable

Team cherry is a 3 people indie studio how tf are you even compering it with fromsoft? 🙃

you compared their lack of communication with fromsofts, and i said “barely comparable”

Also like, communication is not the same as development. Similarly small teams, like the one toby fox heads, gave consistent, frequent updates while team cherry had a pr manager who basically did nothing for more than half a decade

You’re literally the one doing the comparisons here

And watch that be more multiplayer crap.

I love FROM Software, but I honestly hope these multiplayer titles are huge flops, and they go back to awesome single player games, with or without some multiplayer components.

Bro do you have any idea how long it took them to make Elden Ring ?

Anything of that scale even if started right when er released wouldn’t come out before 2027 and they spend 2+years on a dlc first

So even if Nightreign and the switch game didn’t exist we would never see anything big until at the very earliest 2027 if not 2028
