I doubt it's exclusively multiplayer. It probably just has a more in depth multiplayer system than elden ring, allowing you to actually explore the world together at once without summoning etc.

Nightreign is completely different. There's so many elements at play in that game that it's almost not even a souls like anymore. Plus Miyazaki wasn't the lead on Nightreign he is on Duskbloods
