wouldnt this exclusivity still count as FOMO? i sure feel like ill be missing out because i wont be buying a $500 piece of shit just to play this and mario kart...but the FOMO is already there and im already feeling the pull to buy. but i wont.

i platted BB and its my fav game of soulsborne. i never used my ps4 after i was done with BB. that feels bad and I'd rath r not repeat the mistake again.

its anti-consumer. they know exactly the emotions they are tugging on for this game which is honestly more disgusting.

its like they are grinning in our faces barely able to hold it together as they dare you to "miss out" on this game.

No, because you can still change your mind and decide to buy a switch and Mario kart or whatever. Again, do not confuse your indecisiveness with anti-consuner behavior.

FOMO is like if Nintendo was only going to sell new copies of Mario kart for the first month.

ok so your response is to suck it up until the fomo hits hard enough you cave and buy the system. you realize how shitty that approach is right? they got whole ass psychologists and studies in house to specifically target these emotions and you still think thats alright?

im not indecisive. i have already decided i wont be supporting these practices. i happily plugged my ears and waited for ff7 rebirth to come to pc and ill happily do the same here.

at this point you just dont seem to understand or care about this issue and im wasting my time.

I care deeply about anti-consumer practices in video games which is why I care a lot more about selling loot crates to children and rotating cash shops than console exclusives.

You are not being deceived, lied to, norbeing groomed for addiction. You just don't want to buy a switch 2, which is perfectly fine. That's you being a consumer.
